The iPhone finally has an iDisk application!
Apple has released an application for the iPhone that allows those with Mobile Me accounts to view and share files on your iDisk from your iPhone or iPod touch. It is a free application from the iTunes store.

I have been using a paid application to access my Mobile Me files for the past few months, so I was glad to see an application that would provide the easy of use and seamless intergration that I have come to except from Apple.
After typing in my account name and password, the contents quickly appeared on the page. (I was on a Wi-Fi network, I would expect the 3G network to be slower) Some of the features included:
- Accessing public files
- Sharing files by email links that you can password protect, quit sharing when needed, and putting a time limit on the number of days the download is available
- Most recently viewed files are quickly available
- View multiple file types (pdf, pages, doc)
Some obsevations:
- If you send a file formatted in .pages, the recipient had better have pages in order to open
- Must have OS 3.0
- Great help section
- FREE!!!!
From the reviews on the iTunes store site, this has been a long overdue and much anticipated application.
